WHAT IS PHOSPHATING?

Phosphating is a chemical process by which the surface of the wires or wire rods, before being drawn and after the chemical pickling, are covered in phosphate crystals chemically bound to the substrate. Generally it:

promotes adhesion for potential paintwork in the future
